Shot from the yard over bridge the station and the freight orbital , the class 7300 has the loudest horn ive ever herd. been playing around with this for a while , mixed it up a bit.

Great video… in the meantime all the « dancers » (nickname of the 25500 and. 8500 classes) have been scrapped. On some parts it seems you had access to non-public parts of the compound, like the engine depot…

There is that footbridge which you can get to from Villeneuve Triage station also if you cross the footbridge and walk down the road follow the roundhouse there is another footbridge where the freight orbital crosses right beside it . You can walk off the bridge and take pics from there I think still. But you miss them passing through the yard . Freight is down in France since I went there . But if you have time Gare Du Nord and Gare De Lest are fine. Ask nicely and you may get round shed ian.

I have been watching loads of your videos in the past few days. Fantastic indeed. I am thinking about going to France and eventually other European nations to photograph some trains, mainly freight but will photo anything really. This place looks epic. From the comments on this and other videos I think its not as busy as before. But would you suggest this is still the best place for me see a wide variety of French freight traffic? All your videos are fantastic.

Nice editing Ian.This is becoming archive footage. Looks like marshalling at V.St.G Triage will stop and whats left done at Le Bourget Triage. So just what are they going to do with the 255 kilometres of V.St.G track ? Maybe a big memorial - " FRET SNCF R.I.P."
