Temu is a no for me. Things are cheap but you know that someone, somewhere suffered in order for you to get that bargain. Feel the same about Primark.

@@SharonTweedie-wo6qz I agree. It is hard to avoid completely but Temu has been investigated and its goods are linked to modern slavery. As such, it is a no from me. There are more people enslaved today than there were historically. People buying really cheap goods perpetuates this. If it is spectacularly cheap then it is red flag to me and I avoid.

For the chopping board, I'd be very wary as when you cut things, you could easily be chopping up micro pieces of acrylic and consuming them

I hate how they steal photos from small handmade sellers and make cheep copy's of there item and sell for really cheep prices. in uk you would use copywrite trademark laws to get them taken down but in China the government wont enforce the laws large company's like dismay can not stop it small sellers have no hope.

I think there's definitely a line and Temu crosses that line. I guess it depends where your moral compass is, but actively promoting Temu without being transparent about their practices isn't great imo 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I think a lot of people aren't aware how bad Amazon is to be fair. Not sure how you can say Amazon is just as bad yet you shop there because you are forced to... You're not, you choose to. You can purchase amazon products everywhere if you look and are willing to pay more.
