I know one thing for sure I need you and all your teachings. I love all Our Marian priests however, there is something about you that shines like no other. Your teachings touch like no others do. Thank you, Fr. Chris, for explaining the spiritual message of today’s gospel that we will always remember in our hearts. Being able to help others in their needs is a humble and powerful gift of ourselves that we share. We know that this sort thoughtfulness is precious in the eyes of Jesus whose words and deeds we continue to imitate. Thanks also, Fr. Chris, for offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for your second mother and friend. In this offering, I also mention the name of the deceased that I promise to pray for the eternal repose of his soul. I always pray one by one, every deceased person that read on Facebook or KZbin even if I don’t know them. I just feel their need of prayers and sacrifices, and entrust them to God for the forgiveness of their sins and that He bring them all to heaven.

Dear Father Chris, I'm sorry to hear of all your losses. I'm a nurse and for a couple of decades I've been caring for the dying in their homes. Often I find the very old, especially elderly men, will ask me, "Why am I still here?" I always reply to them that the end of your life is time God is giving you to draw closer to Him so when you meet Him face to face He will be familiar, like a good friend. When Sister Clare Crockett made her final vows she was alone and so her mandate became, "Alone with Jesus, alone." If you haven't watched the documentary All or Nothing the life of Clare Crockett please, if you have time, watch it. God bless the souls of all who you love you have been called from this life. May they rest in peace. May perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.
