The FRIDAS Project brings together two different worlds, art and sports, in order to promote inclusion, break down gender bias, challenge discrimination in sports, and combat social exclusion.
The aim of the project is to combat gender bias and support the inclusion of women in the world of sports, especially in those sports, such as rugby, that have traditionally been marked by a strong male dominance. Through the project, the intention is to combat poverty and social exclusion by also involving groups of boys/adolescents who find themselves living in precarious and difficult conditions, involving them in project activities and including them in the world of sports through educational and creative activities.
The project aims to promote the value of mindfulness as a model for arriving at a knowledge of self and other, in which mind and body come to a point of collective reflection.
