Thinking about a steam traction engine now then Mick? They take a lot of looking after, I would go to a two or three rallies, and have chat to some people who own an engine,because they are quite a lot more expensive than a diesel tractor both in time and money, not an easy prospect, beautiful to look at,but best find out what is involved first. I used to be involved with a steam locomotive, and it took up nearly all my spare time, and a considerable amount of money as well.

@michaelgoodliffe4795 it's not something I would rush into pal . It's definitely a specialised hobby but definitely something I've become interested in. I've been to a few meetings. And it's something I would be very interested in . Seem a few for sale around the 40k . But need more time to think about it .
