AAC ammo has been reported to suffer jacket separation. There have been reports of this damaging suppressor over that last 12 month on Reddit and elsewhere. This includes the 55 and 62GR 5.56, 300 BK, annd 308 ammo. The 75 GR bullets are made by Hornady so they are safe. The AAC 77GR OTM and other bullets are probably safe to use with a suppressor.

AAC suffers from selling weak shit. I chrono'd all of their 75 gr and 77 gr loads, and all of them were below advertised velocity. Worse yet, the SD was over 60 on two of them, so their powder loading is sus. Same barrel shoots 77gr Razorcore and BH with a SD under 8 and MV's right around advertised (which was 80+ fps above what the AAC did in reality).

​@@Fister_of_Muppets Some claim AAC is not consistent from lot to lot. Some have reported better chrono results than you and some have reported poor results. Thanks for the feedback. I don't have a chrono. I have shot both Razorcore and AAC but not on the same day. Thus far I have not seen a big difference. I plan to have a friend with much more experience than me try both AAC and Razorcore with his rifle and some of my rifles the next time we go to the range together.

@raykettel1837 FWIW, the SD variance I spoke of was not from different lots, they were actually from the same box and the big differences round-to-round was unacceptable IMO. My testing with my chrono was on a calm 72-degree day, including 6 different types of AAC ammo, 5-shot strings in rotation of all 6 SKU's, times 4 rounds of testing (120 rounds total).
