This is brilliant! The depth of knowledge and how it has filled gaps that have existed in my mind for a long time is just amazing. This man deserves a knighthood (Zim equivalent) for his contribution to African history.

Kudos Tinashe for having guts to have a sit down with the great Brian Kagoro. I also liked the civility of the discussion, with a possibility of both gentlemen following different ideological position.

Brian kagoro, you really need to consider running for President. You tick the boxes well on both sides, I.e, 1 You can't be considered a puppet. 2. Your ideas of social transformation resonate very well with the burgeoning youth entrepreneurs on our continent and an emerging African competitiveness on the global arena.

By the way guys, that feature in your background, why is it still called "Victoria Falls "? So many years after Independence on both sides of the Zambezi, wouldn't it be good to revert to just, Mosi Oa Tunya? Ever studied the history of Queen Victoria? Anyway, doesn't Mosi Oa Tunya sound nice for a rebranding exercise 😅

Its perplexing that seemingly learned Shona folk like Rutendo Matinyarere are pushing the narative that the word Shona was a deregatory term coined by Mzilikazi and his ( group).
