I am in agreement with Roberta....I don't like glass in between me and the art....something of its spirit gets lost behind that glass...as crazy as it seems, I don't even like glass in front of watercolor paintings or acrylic paintings...I like the presence & immediacy of the art in front of me....Roberta's work is lyrical and beautiful....great interview Ang - as always. Ive actually seen the Agnus Martin in person and when you know the story, its a sad but peaceful art piece. At first I walked straight past it, as I wanted to see the Paul Nash. But I went back and read the artist statement, wow hey? 😢
