@njenje. Please despite the security situation in Anambra and south east. Firstly, insecurities in south east and Anambra is a further manifestation of naija insecurity especially with the politicization of security and all armed forces. So you can't talk about one without talking about the other, knowing fully well that the governors are figureheads when it comes to security, by design.

Secondly, please let's stop the exaggeration and hyperbolic statements that you can't move anywhere in Anambra or south east with a nice car without security personnel. That's not necessary and untrue/extreme exaggeration. There are 8 million people in Anambra and kidnapping is still not too rampant to be statistically significant. Unlike locations in other parts of naija where people are kidnapped in tens/Hundreds. That shouldn't be our standard though. Hyperbolic statements like you and some others are making is as damaging as the actual security situation. You may think it's a constructive criticism to make the govt work better but it's just spreading fear mongering in the populace. Just like the unknown gun men/sit at home situation. Do you think kidnap is an impromptu thing people do when they see your car. I believe it's properly planned and the victim tailed. Even Ifeanyi ubah was attacked despite his security. With all these traders going to their shop everyday in Anambra without security, we should be having at least 100s of kidnaps per week even asaba won't save them because there is no border. Its not by type of vehicle.

Finally, security is very expensive both in time and infrastructure and SE must work together for both training and planning and buying the necessary equipments for their vigilante service to succeed, because clearly the fed govt is compromised and not making effort/incompetent despite having sole legal power of the police etc. even state govts can't even issue ordinary pump action gun and are barred from having ak47 etc. so what kind of security are we hoping to get with no powers to issue any weapons etc when the security dynamics change for the worse. we need to restructure the police to state level with no political bottlenecks in acquiring basic and required equipments and SE needs to work as one unit because economies of scale is a real issue but in naija every state wants to work alone.

Where are you right now? In Anambra ?

@@NjenjeMedia yes, with the other 6 million people. Hyperbolic statements about insecurity isn't helping anyone. Its misinformation. Anambra last Christmas was very lively even with all the overstated security issue.

The problem is we the people are so laid back. All we know is japa japa japa while we are being embarrassed globally. At this rate we may just allow a goat to become our leader, and you will have people backing the goat because the goat was born in their town.

Let us do some research on which countries are kicking France out and why. Are they not all French-colonised countries? France doesn’t have power of legal authority they have in French-colonised countries in Nigeria. Don’t you think these countries kicked France out, France will need to look country in Africa they can be importing African goods from?
