Hi!! I'm one of the Co-Directors and also made a LOT of art for the mod! Thank you a lot for this explanation, hopefully this spreads around so people can fully understand what the Antiverse really is. Other than that, really cool video, good job!

Hi!!! I’m a part of the dev team and the creator of faceless. I just wanna say I’m glad you actually did your research for faceless rather than just assume he was Stanley like I’ve seen and expected people to do He’s getting a slight rewrite regardless but I’m still glad you did your research :)

I don't think boyfriend and girlfriend's designs are explicitly meant to fit into the Mario universe. They were created for the antiverse which takes the personalities of all the fnf characters and flips them on their heads. So Boyfriend's now a cynical perpetual frowner who's annoyed by the fights he's thrown into, and Girlfriend's now an angel. It's just that the antiverse's version of Sonic .exe released before the main mod for some reason.

To clarify and correct some of what was discussed here: - Mario.exe, in this mod, is simply called MARIO. And yes, while there is some inspiration from Super Horror Mario like that of Mario.exe in Mario's Madness, he is also (and primarily) based on the ROM hack/Creepypasta, MARIO by M A R I O, hence the simplified name. In the hack, it mainly stars Mario and Yoshi, as commonly depicted in various rap battles (Sonic.exe vs Tails Doll, Eyeless Jack vs Laughing Jack, MARIO vs Sonic.exe 2, and MARIO vs White Face) and in VibingLeaf's "Mario VICTIM #1". This is why MARIO kills of Yoshi in particular, rather than someone like Luigi, and also why his Freeplay art is based on Super Mario World. - Anti-Piracy Mario is partially based on the various Super Mario 64 anti-piracy videos, but he is mainly based on Mario Party DS Anti-Piracy Screen. This series is known for one thing in particular that served as the basis for this Mario: "Piracy is No Party". This phrase is uttered by Anti-Piracy Mario in Party Pooper, the song where Lucas ends up inside Anti-Piracy Mario's prison. The phrase is also associated with the scene of Mario and everyone else in the original Mario Party DS being locked in a cage, which is why there are Toads behind bars during Anti-Piracy Mario's songs. All of this is made very clear through his Freeplay art, which is based on the boxart of Nintendo DS games. - Anti-Boyfriend and Anti-Girlfriend, from what I've been told, aren't meant to fit in with the Mario universe. You see, Antiverse is designed to be an FNF AU where everything is reversed, and Vs MARIO is just one mod in the Antiverse series, being the opposite of Vs. Sonic.exe, and Boyfriend and Girlfriend, amongst other main characters in the AU, are designed with opposite attributes of the OG characters. Boyfriend and Girlfriend, in the original game, are both rather short, while Anti-Boyfriend and Anti-Girlfriend are more of the average size of young adults their age. Boyfriend in the original game is comedically smirking all the time, and has been justified in his lack of concern for his well-being, by the FNF devs, as he is actually a humongous imbecile. In Vs. Sonic.exe, too, Boyfriend initially shows zero fear when facing Xeno, until the later cutscenes break his character when his life is greatly threatened. Anti-Boyfriend, by contrast, shows immediate fear towards MARIO upon seeing that Yoshi head, and instead of being comedically smirking all the time, is more comedically serious with how often he is scowling, except for when he's making tons of references in Speedrunner Mario's song. Similarly, Girlfriend in the original game is a demon, while Anti-Girlfriend is an angel. This explains their difference in clothing choices, as well as their hair color.

Girlfriend looks a lot like peach but wearing a fancy dress. Wow boyfriend is looking more like a boy from Scotland because of the Irish hat. I think they look interesting. This is amazing remix!

I really like this version of mario.exe. Instead of being based on a single piece of art, it's an interesting original character made to be opposite of sonic.exe and it has a super Mario world theme, and considering that we originally only had one Mario world exe, it's nice to have another.

Fun fact if you have played the original Super Smash Bros you may think boyfriend is wearing the reverse Mario overalls back in the Mario.exe section for those of you who played Super Smash Bros that is a neat little easter egg you might think is a reference to the original Smash Bros

Actually the real Madness cutscene at the Beginning reflects perfectly how MX aka Mario 85 poles people into his game so think Sonic.exe but you are the Victim instead of Tails but in the Defense of Lucas he is just a little boy playing on his old nes when suddenly it took screen flash to and now he is in the game transformed into Luigi fishing off a monstrous Mario and Lord x fusion or his true name is Mario 85 now a few of you you might think it's at that bad being pulled into the game but if you played the actual Mario PC port you saw what he did to Toad you saw how he decapitated him with the flag it's like what if SpongeBob decapitated his eyes it's nightmare fuel I now you're a prompted to run away from him or he will turn you into Tails without a soul

Speedrunner mario was originally intended to be Sunky's counterpart, but due to the addition of Diagonal Mario and complete revamp of 0 stars run, we decided to change that, since It didnt fit and we're never doing the EXE counterpart due to all the drama, doesnt matter if revie was cleared or anything
