I like how Xaza barely resembles Xatu apart from some details. Shinto is very similar to Hypno apart from some details, but the differences between Xatu and Xaza are much more noticeable now. I always felt that D-Sides Shinto would be a parody of the Pokémon Medicham myself, though. Xatu is a bit of a strange choice I feel.

I like this a lot. It sounds like a d-sides remix, though my only issue is that this doesn't feel like Xatu bootleg at all. Like the clear arms and legs looking more like Shinto bootleg and less like a Xatu in Shinto's style. Also confused as to why you chose Xatu and not something like maybe...umm, honestly I have no idea what would fit better since there aren't a lot of Gen 2 mons with creepy dex entries. Maybe like Girafarig or something? Idk this is just my stupid brain thinking this out

I believe Poliwrath is the best candidate, as he's one of the few Pokémon that can learn hypnosis (he could use the spiral that he has on his chest as a tool to hypnotise his prey)
