A nice touch is that BF seemingly *doesn't* realize "wait, it's not that easy" when he thinks he saved GF. He was one of the first to get corrupted and was unconscious for the entire mod, so he might have never seen the Corruption in REAL action. He only realizes something is up when he hears the spider legs move and sees them (he's looking in their direction right before his expression changes, although the 2D video game perspective forcing him to be at least partially facing the screen at all times makes this ambiguous), and THAT's what makes him react.

Actually, the Daddy Dearest week, although I had thought it was a remix of his og songs, actually had charts that very differ from the original. I mean, Dusk was obviously a remix of his second song with the beatboxing, but then you look at Lament and Deathmatch, and it's an entirely different week altogether. Even Deathmatch had a lot of uniqueness with the various characters that popped up on BF's side.

Yeah i doubt the corruption is able to fake tears. Maybe gf woke up during either DD's week or some point before the corruption trys to trick bf in this song and gf doesnt have a "soul" version inside her head so she's just stuck there watch as her body is being used as a puppet and as its tricking bf. Thats why she's crying she knows bf wouldnt think twice if he saw gf uncorrupted because if how long it might have been since they last saw eachother. If i may I feel like giving a prediction to how this is going to kick-off. First it is evident that the teaser bit is going to be the intro part of the song. When the scene opens we see BF still on the abandoned stage after breaking free. In the background where the broken wall is there is an empty void. It zooms in slowly at the hole as the tension builds up then as we here those crack sounds we can see faint flashes of Evil GF's face. Finally once once it reaches the peak of the build up and that scream is heard, we are treated to a jumpscare of a close-up GF face mouth wide open. Paralleling the intro to Winter Horrorland. The camera quickly zooms out to a full view of the stage and then the song begins. That being said i am liking the new design for Evil GF, it's got a creepiness factor we really haven't seen with the corruption up until now. (UPDATE): Well I am surprised and shook by how this officially opened up, even if it was different to what i thought it would be. It still had a creepy and foreboding build-up which I knew it would have. So I called that part at least. But I didn't expect them to be singing during the buildup. And seeing Evil GF's head and face twist and scream in terror was still unnerving, even BF was scared for a second! Either way, BF's effort to save GF has only just begun! Great work as always Fear.

Analysis: The setting must still be in the theater BF was still in after he broke free so he and GF must be backstage in the left wing of the stage. Plus it was a cool effect where the visage of GF started as the original design we saw at the very beginning of this mod and as the light shown on her more it transitioned to the new redesign. Then with that fake-out GF pulled we got a good look at the area they are in and i noticed flyers behind them that mention the Harvest Moon. This must play into something, but i don't know into what relating to this story. But if it does then we will find out in time.

It seems that during the internal battle BF was having, the corruption has mutated and gained new abilities. I see that many people are pointing out that the corruption is desperate, but it's also more unpredictable. BF might have the upper hand, but he needs to be extra vigilant nonetheless. Edit: Notice that you can tell just how desperate the corruption is from the hallucination. Like Week 1, GF is wearing her normal outfit, not her Christmas one. In addition, when starting the hallucination, you can clearly see "GF" grinning, making it very obvious what is actually going on here. And of course, the last line she says is just a dead giveaway. I think i've just noticed a pattern: Corrupted boyfriend wears his winter coat, and in the part of the pico week where he temporarily uncorrupts, you see him wearing his normal clothes. But when boyfriend is actually uncorrupted, he's still wearing his coat. In this song, you can see that girlfriend appears to be wearing a winter outfit too, and during the fakeout, you see her return to normal (temporarily), but she's wearing her normal clothes in that state. So, it would seem that the corruption can trick people by creating illusions of them saving whoever they're facing, but it's not perfect. This is supported by a more obscure detail that the flyer in the back saying "The harvest moon" says "The harvest, the harvest, the harvest" during that scene.

I've kind of devised a plan that can make you stand a chance against the corruption. This won't work 100%, and you will still most likely get corrupted, but you may stand a chance this way. 1. Avoid getting corrupted in the first place. Do everything you can to cut contact with people. Lock yourself in rooms, isolate yourself as much as you can. Daddy Dearest did this, as why would he return to the theatre just to fight BF? There is also scratch marks on the wall, indicating days, which aren't present in the OG game. This is the number one way to keep yourself from being overtaken by the corruption. 2. Don't let the opponent have a turn. Since the corruption is transmitted through sound waves, the best option is to either continuously sing or just not let the opponent have a turn. Yes, I read this from other comments, and yes, BF does consistently sing with GF. 3. Don't fall for any tricks that the corruption may play on you. Both BF and Mommy fell for this. The corruption can "uncorrupt" themselves by making it look like they are no longer corrupted. Pico did this by revealing an eye, and GF looked like she was no longer corrupted. Pretty sure everyone already knew everything on here but just saying it

I think soul bf really got normal bf shaped up. Even after the false hope that his girlfriend was uncorrupted, he still pushed on. I think that by this point, he has a really good chance of winning.

Just a personal theory here but I think the reason girlfriend isn't as strong as the other corrupted and relys more on manipulation and tricks is because she's more of a catalyst for the corruption she's more or less the original host and her goal is to spread it to say someone like boyfriend who's strong enough to defend her and spread the corruption to others widening her influence most likely how she corrupted boyfriend at the beginning was using this tactic of luring him into a trap and getting him instantly she's not meant to fight mainly to provide power like a battery and we'll a battery isn't worth much if it dosent have something to give power too so it's basically like fighting a support class they have little to no offense but can have a few tricks up their sleeves to try and beat you I really like this concept personally because girlfriend was first and shes always sidelining the battle meaning she's out of the way she dosent need to attempt spreading the infection risking herself and since she's attached to someone who's incredibly strong willed and relentless she's the perfect person to become a corruption battery since all she needs to do is follow BF around and give him power again this is just a theory but I feel like it makes sense through the entirety of the lore someone needed to have been the original host and given what we see here I'd say this makes the most sense

I mean, you're not wrong, but hear me out; If Girlfriend is able to have a bunch more tricks than hallucinations up her sleeves, then what does that mean for Boyfriend. He's literally fighting the corrupted form of the Dearest's daughter, and already he's getting into a struggle bus with the illusions. If she has more tricks as you say she has as a supporting role, I have a feeling that Boyfriend would be corrupted again somewhat soon. Maybe not in the next song, but sometimes soon.

I'd like to think that Girlfriend is moreover the heart of the corruption, as she's most likely the first to be corrupted. Maybe the people who rapped against Boyfriend were planning to attack the heart of the corruption to end it. When Boyfriend was corrupted, he might've acted like the bodyguard of the corruption's heart. All people who are corrupted are supposed to spread the corruption, but if the heart is brought out of the corruption, then the corruption will disappear. The ones who rapped against Boyfriend were planning on getting rid of the heart, all having failed. Now that Boyfriend is free from the corruption, the heart of the corruption no longer has a bodyguard, and has to rely on other methods to either get its bodyguard back, or unalive Boyfriend. The tentacle things Girlfriend has around her that come around 1:52 I like to think are something of a ribcage to protect the heart. However, later, maybe the ribcage will be destroyed, leaving the heart of the corruption vulnerable and allowing Boyfriend to save Girlfriend (and everyone else) from the corruption. That's just my idea though.

Really can't wait to see what happens. I have ideas of what may happen to - I feel this song may be similar in a way to Discharge and Neuroses. For the fact that BF may "lose" (like the ending of Neuroses lose): So he may get slightly corrupted but next song he goes all out to reverse the corruption But I imagine that the finale will be a different version of like Deathmatch. Basically like BF VS EVIL Pico Pico VS EVIL Spooky Kids Spooky Kids VS EVIL Mommy Mearest Mommy Mearest VS EVIL Daddy Dearest Then maybe BF VS himself or perhaps a spirit of Soul BF and that to uncorrupt Senpai they simply load a back up Then BF (and friends) VS Whoever is responsible for the corruption (Monster) and I imagine that the final battle will be at a radio tower, as it seems vocals can spread corruption but also if it reverses corruption, then maybe a world wide rap will cleanse the world of corruption.

Sheesh this mod came far within a year from black splotches and dark recolors with teeth to actual demonic designs with restricting tendrils/tentacles (?). This is the first time seeing evil gf with this design and it looks amazing. Also, the little details are great like the strands of hair on BF's bangs being unruffled or even grown out like that due to the length of time he was corrupted. GF's down pose seems to have heart eyes i believe and the corruption is really doing everything it can to trick BF into falling within it's grasp again (or outright killing him since it tried to stab him with those spider legs). BF is ignorant and naive but even he can sniff out a sus situation when "GF" tells him to come hug her then ends off with "that's it, stay right there", It's never that easy after all with the hoops and hurdles he had to go through just to get uncorrupted himself. GF is probably the corruptions main powerhouse which is why it's using everything it can to deal with BF, especially with those spider legs, which may be used more for even a transformation in the next songs, who knows? Overall good stuff, this is still one of my favorite highly anticipated mods.

I love how at the beginning the design of GF's corruption is the same as the old one (pitch black) meanwhile, why does she snap her neck? Is it like a form of torture to keep her under control or what? Edit: Her right note looks like corrupt bf's miss animation, that's a neat detail too! And after a month, I just found out her eyes are pulsing on her idle animation, as well as the down note eyes forming a little heart
