Based on what Bbuds said in his qna video, he talked about why hypno was decapitated in the second song. Basically, hypno couldn’t get into gf’s head in the first first due to her being too resistant and dumb, so he transports all of his psychic energy into his mind, which is why his body goes completely limp, and to make his hypnotic abilities more stronger to get through gf tiny little brain. Basically hypno said “this is big brain time”

Something sort of clever about this mod is the fact that it’s canon that girlfriend is hypnotized and taken by hypno after the 2nd song, but only during that song is the pendulum in the middle visible. Since the song has a much more intense beat to it, the song basically forces you to look straight at it in order to keep the beat of the song synced with your space bar pressing. So in other words if we want to win against hypno, we have to be hypnotized ourselves

Everyone's talking about how much Gold scared them, and I can see why, but to me Hypno is so much worse. Singing with a clear voice like the Lemon Demon in his first song is bad enough, but everything about the second song is like an acid trip in the uncanny valley because everything about it is plain _wrong._ Monochrome is creepy, but more sad than anything. Here's Gold, someone we played as, inserted ourselves into and went on adventures with, and he's reduced to a tortured husk of his former self. The Celebi and Unown are remnants from a life violently torn from him, and he remembers that. His singing sounds like he's on the verge of sobbing, and his random jumpscares sound like he's screaming in pain. Disclaimer: if I sound harsh, I actually really love the music in this mod, dread-inducing as it is.

Good body horror makes any one creeped. Just the way homeboy just... stares at you. Then drastically starts stretching his face in terrifying ways. Also when he says "I'M DEAD" and the tone he says it in... He sounds like he's really sad and when you think about it, his story is a pretty tragic one. Clearly he was a happy, young trainer who met his untimely demise, knowing his Pokemon, Mom, Rival, and everyone else who cared about him won't be able to know what happened to him or see him again. You know, just a thought: The *canon* incident of Hypno taking a child out to the forest (which was what inspired the creepypasta Hypno’s Lullaby) was probably much more wholesome than depicted. I mean, think about it. In real life there have been incidents of gorillas “kidnapping” kids because they’re lonely bastards and didn’t know any better, whereas Hypno look somewhat similar in stature to gorillas, so maybe in the Pokemon world it’s a similar premise. Ok, and I know what you’re thinking: And I haven’t gone through any of Hypno’s other Pokédex entires to check, but just because it’s a Psychic type doesn’t mean it’s smart. (Side note: Besides I feel like some kids would be stupid enough to follow a random Hypno into the middle of nowhere even without the use of hypnosis, since when you ignore some of the other features (i.e. literally everything depicted about Hypno here) it kind of bears a resemblance to what you would normally see in a kid’s mascot. Come on, Hypno wouldn’t feel out of place as a Muppet or a Sesame Street character, you gotta admit that.) (Edit: Especially considering the fact that this is Pokemon we’re talking about, and… well I know what that sounds like but just bear with me guys.)

The hell mode of this mod has some changes I'll list them Lullaby Week: hypnos pendent is faster Monochrome: it now stacks, the unknown text, perish song mechanics and hypno's pendent too (If you didnt know everytime the half Celebi appears and uses Perish song your health takes a cut) Missingno: The unknown text returns, and missingno will glitch your note harder than before When I was doing the hell mode I was able to beat hell hypno and missingno but not lost silver due to the addition of the pendent

I like to think of this mod as us(the player) playing as gf for the first few songs, then while we’re switching perspectives, we’re stopped by a strange being that offers us a game cartridge, and when we agree, we are pitted against Lost Silver in a fight for our lives, where should we lose, we succumb to Celebi’s “Perish Song.” And after defeating him, we find BF facing Missingno, after Hypno attempted to sacrifice him to it.

This is absolutely AMAZING! I love the amount of quality in this Mod, Hypno is quite the scary Pokemon, And the mechanics with all 3 Opponents were really great! ^_^ As for the Story, I assume Boyfriend went out too Rap Battle some peeps, Came across a dude selling a game, Checked it out and got pulled in too face Silver, After that he got sent further in too the game to face Missingno, "Typical Boyfriend stuff" and of course he prevails against both of them. Girlfriend on the other hand is out looking for Boyfriend, One of the few times they aren't together, She comes across Hypno, Using his psychic powers he read her mind that she was looking for Boyfriend, So he was telling her too come with him and he'll bring her too Boyfriend. "Obviously not true though since Boyfriend is in a Game atm" So they have a face off, I guess it's kind of a Rap Battle between the two, But it's mostly just Girlfriend resisting Hypno's power for both songs, At the end of the 2nd song it seems it overpowered her and we don't see what else happens. But my little head canon for this, Is that by controlling her mind, He ended up making her pull out her Demon Form by instinct and just completely obliterated/eviscerated him off-screen. A bloody pool on the floor is all that remains of the Hypno, And a blood covered Girlfriend in a trance stands over his remains. Still a extremely spooky/scary ending. But obviously we know Girlfriend would never truly lose too a freaking Hypno. So this is way more likely of a ending. Heck she could still be in the trance after-wards and Boyfriend has too go face her in a Rap Battle too get her out of it later. "Before she goes around killing other peoples :P" But I admit that THIS part is probably unlikely lmao, After she kills the Hypno she's probably back too her normal dumb-ass self. That would make more sense.

Nah, Girlfriend might be in the Nightmare already. It's not his pile of blood, but from previous people Hypno met. BF actually might have bought this cartridge from stranger and got Lost Silver, and being dragged into it to face Gold, now challenging him. Also, I don't think that after Gold he is getting to MissingNo, because it's separate games and cartridges, Boyfriend might have just tried to check the glitch with it.
