Also, at the risk of being That Guy™️, something that bugged me about Race Traitors once I noticed it is that the red shells that hit the health bar bounce off of it In actual Mario Kart, red shells break on impact with anything, a trade-off for their homing capabilities, and it's the green shells that bounce off of surfaces [granted they still break on impact with things like bananas, entities like cows and, of course, any racers, but let's be generous and say that the health bar is akin to a surface rather than an entity] Like I said, being That Guy™️

i like how mario madness has kind of a different feel to it compared to sonic.exe v2 In EXE, you were the one that challenged them and there was a bit of fun in most of the songs. But in MM? There's no joy whatsoever here, you were taken into the game by FORCE, this time you're fighting not just for the fun of it, but probably for your life too! Plus none of the tracks in this mod have any kind of upbeat moments in them (unless the start of Golden-Land counts but even so it still has a eerie feeling at the start)

The "I hate you" song was just perfect like holy shit seeing the drowned marios was such a surprise. This is like an s teir mod. It's up there with sonic.exes mod with all the references and stuff. Alone luigi isn't even a creepypasta it's just a gameover screen for luigis mansion and the blue ball screen is the piracy screen from some mario game (I forgor 💀) and the 6 golden coins mario is just awesome. I love the "every copy of sm64 is personalised" creepypasta I always thought that was creepy. MX mario voice is so perfect instead of it being some heavily edited voice clip of mario it sounds like your actually fighting against something evil, no, diabolical. The amount of both differences and parallels this has with the Sonic.exe mod is quite astonishing, and interesting. Mario is more talkative than Sonic, The first 2 songs have notes to avoid from mario while sonic has notes you need to hit to avoid damage, theres a song with a fake copy of the original who turns more monstrous, the different types of exe characters, and a few non exes as well. I'm soo looking forward to whatever happens next update to this. I really hope they put in devil Mario from the old Power star series in the next big update. (also, can someone please put some captions for the bit crushed voice lines.)

Posting the references I got so people dont think MX is a fnf character or something stupid like that. The its a me intro cutscene has a reference to among us. Its a me mario is a reference to that one image of mario with a knive. Golden Land is a reference to Super Mario Land. (Not sure about the possible creepypasta but it is super mario land) The flute is a reference to Mario Bros 3 when warping to a world. I Hate You is a reference to a creepypasta with the same name. The little BF Start! is a reference to Super Mario World when you start a level. The ghost marios that appear in the middle of the song are also a reference to the I Hate You creepypasta. Alone is a reference to the Depressed Luigi thing. BF hanging in the middle of the song is a reference to one of the parts of Luigis Mansion. Aparition is a reference to The Wario Aparition that was a thing at around mid-2020. Power Down is a reference to the Mario PC Port. Race Traitors is a reference to a Mario Kart parody animation I belive.
