Here’s my take on Tollege: Trollege isn’t an Antichrist, nor a separate being. He’s a person, like us. And he did something terrible, I don’t know what yet. But he questions his humanity. He views himself as a monster, he justifies it to himself as “trolling” that’s why he looks so deformed. But vaguely humanoid. He still knows he’s human. But he views himself as a monster for what he did. As the incidents go on, they get more and more fucked. One of the first, is “Blood floats on blood” it shows him as the trollege monster, flying away from a city. This symbolizes-him flying away from society, isolating himself in his own mind. This is the start of his declining sanity. Look at Right behind you. He’s a monster this is his conscious trying to tell him that he’s a monster. And it’s working. He’s declining in sanity. Finally concluding with blueballs. Where he realizes what he is. “How am i supposed to face my sins?” In the song before reality was breaking his conscience was breaking. This is the story of trollege.

I love the concept of this mod, Trollface has been gone for several years and ever since his resurgence in the meme community he's been going down a very dark and twisted path. He only has memories of who he used to be before he turned out like this. Due to his now twisted mind he only sees things like mass death as simple trolling like what happened with the heaven's staircase incident. I also love the detail that Derpina also came back but in a much brighter and nicer sort of way, she even sends you out to deal with anomalies like Trollge. This mod is extremely good, I love it!

I just realized something watching this for the 7th time. The "battle" isn't design like how the normal game is, usually the enemy goes first and sings a pattern that you have to match on your turn with the occasional bf solo.....that's not what they were going for. The battle isn't designed like a conversation like in the normal game or even as an argument like other mods, the battles are designed as melody's.....not the obvious way that you think. I mean the entirety of both trollge's and bf's voice are not singing with the melody but are designed as literally part of it, bf's lines are the lead melody and trollge's lines are the bass. This becomes even more clear in the track "incident".

Charting seems a little off for BF's side, like a few missing notes on the 3rd song. Overall, music production quality is absolutely TOP NOTCH, as is the visual detail on all the stages. Definitely one of the better mods out there

I love the vibe the music has, it starts really industrial and depressing but it progressively gets into sorta 2010's styled dramatic and destructively despondent aesthetic. This one is also specially visually coordinated with this vibe , the slightly desaturated colours with no shadows, more early internet animation like-motion, the stellar use of voice-to-speech. Man, the cursed trollge ended up being my favorite part, an ominous beat in a black void, and the ending made me feel like the moment I just found that life had no purpose but to enjoy and live it. Also those moments when you wake up, feel like trash, the beat was so good, I loved everything about this mod, the story, the voices, the beat the scenarios everything. Favorite thing about this mod is that the only thing it really doesn't focus on is hard charting. Don't get me wrong, the charts are still pretty fun and the music is a banger, but it focuses most on making the songs and gameplay actually fit with the story they're telling, and the horrors they want you to see. For once it feels less like a hard challenge you have to focus on and more just an... experience, seeing what your singing brings. I love it.
