Mid effort is so amazing not only did they nail the animation for Steven when he says “This isn’t a game” but also because they make spinel more expressive with more bends when it’s her turn.

I feel like mid effort is better. It feels more cinematic and I like the fact that it shows a short animation of steven making it have more emotion in it. Also like how they made spinels entrance more delayed making it more dramatic.

i like og's area, mid effort's animation, high effort's charting, the glitch to area ratio after corupted spinel joins. i kind of preferred if steven encases himself in a sheild bubble only after steven regains some control, and there would be a shield break animation where black corruption leaks out. overall, these mods are great in their own way.

I like the Mid effort one the most. The way Steven's head twitchs and spins in for the down animation has the perfect *unstable* vibe and I like how he remains pink (cause he only turned pink from stress) Kinda disappointed the full week Spinel and Steven don't have their duet thing anymore. I don't know how to explain it but I actually do like the finished it's very I don't know, clean? And aside from the "I DON'T GET IT!" not having then feel when he's in the spike bubble as it does when he just straight up goes pink. (it's because it gives off the vibe that he's genuinely stressed, aware enough to be used because he knows he can't do anything) 11/10 (2 points redacted for literally my only two cons lol) I could just be biased.... Yeah.. Probably just that.
