I'm just playing the canceled build and showing off what's new. This is a mod I played over a year ago which felt exactly like horrortale.
This story takes place 7 years after Ft Sans Mod so Boyfriend & Girlfriend are 26 years old, they both return to Undertale by opening an odd door in an odd alleyway, BF & GF seem to have found their way back into a weird bar but this time the scenery is different. BF & GF see Sans sitting near the bar table, but he doesn't look like his old self anymore. BF, as usual, asks Sans for a rap battle, and Sans accepts the rap battle challenge.

Game Note: Midnight Hunger is cancelled, the reason for the cancellation was due to the team's lack of motivation and lack of interest in the project, so it was left aside, but then i decided to prepare this canceled build to show one of the few things we had ready for the mod and what we possibly expected to be, just like y'all, i'm sad that this mod has come to a sad end, but all good things eventually come to an end, just like this project. It was fun to collaborate on this project and how charming it was in its own way, maybe one day I hope to be able to revisit a project like this one.

hey uh, original director here nothing that you guys are seeing here was actually meant to be the new version, this here is a scrapped rework of the mod that i gave up on making mid development due to being unsatisfied with how it was looking and sounding. The real V2 was gonna look and sound a lot different as i was gonna take a different approach with the artstyle, music and overall asthetic of the mod tho the mod got cancelled so, nothing i've made of the actual v2 is gonna be released (mostly because there's barely anything lol)

Every mod is either a demo for eternity, in development purgatory, or getting cancelled. I can understand not having the drive to finish something, but if it isn't infighting or drama related issues, it's always a lack of motivation to see things through. At some point that excuse really doesn't sound like a viable justification anymore.
