Friday Night Funkin' VS Starecrown - Funkin' Against Anomalies (STARE DEMO) for the PC in 2160p Ultra HD. This time we battle Starecrown Remastered (Songs and Sprites are updated).

Starecrown 1st song in his 1st week got reworked/remastered/revamped, so pretty much there are updated sprites, a new voice, and the stare song is remastered along with a few jumpscares. So many og mods getting an update like Tabi, Kapi, Whitty, Kou, Sky, Updike, Hex, QT, Cartoon Cat, In the Galaxy, and so on! I'll be playing Starecrown all songs on very hard including the secret song and I will include a little bit of a side-by-side comparison of the old Starecrown vs the updated version at the end of the video.

I'm glad to see Starecrown back with an actually catchy song! I saw a lot of a potential in this mod when it first came out, but had a problem with the music. It just didn't seem to "stick" like the music from other mods. The part before the scream was dragged out a bit too long, the beat was hard to follow, and the way they built the first mod on top of another mod (Zardy's Maze) made it a bit broken. But I could tell from the creator of the mod that they put a lot of love into Starecrow's character. Starecrow's lore is what kept me around. So update after update, I got to see Starecrow grow. Little by little, the creator got better at making their mod. And now, 1 year later, Starecrow got the update it deserves. Sure, the update is still in progress, but still WAY better than what Starecrow started with. Cheers to Starecrow! The underrated mod that kept on fighting! (sorry for the ramble) Edit: I'M SO SORRY I GOT ZARDY'S NAME WRONG THE FIRST TIME!! I CANT SPELL THINGS!! ;-;

Aw, it's so nice to see Starecrown get a nice update! It's a major improvement in my opinion. There was of course some charm to the original, namely because of Starecrown's character, but the art and music was admittedly a bit rough. Not to say that there wasn't effort put into it. And I think that's what makes me so happy to see the update, because art is a major learning process, and it's both cool and comforting to see something that is loved grow/improve.

I am very happy that Mod got a new update. I love remaster of the song Stare and they made it better than the befor, and the rest of the songs are great, the backgrounds are great, and respect and appreciation for the team that worked on the mod.

Personally I liked the original song more, it leaned in to real horror better. Because it was more jarring, like if you went to a curcus and freaking pennywise started doing a jig at you. But I can't deny the improvements and I'm happy this mod is returning because it was one of my favorites

I kinda prefer the original over the new version tbh. The old version had an intensity there that the new version doesn't, the new version just feels like Starecrown is playing with you, while the old feels like a version in which Starecrown genuinely wants to eat your voice or something. Edit: Yes, I know he's nice, but I genuinely preferred Starecrown as a creeper. The lack of horror element kind of removes his uniqueness as a OG fnf fan creation, and so far he's been the only remotely horrifying thing in FNF that didn't come from another fandom. At least, from all the videos I've seen about FNF.
