Boomer here too although never wanted to do drugs. Find the longest Elma episodes and replay them to fall asleep with. That is my nightly ritual that really works well. Was used to sleeping next to a slightly snoring husband and these do just fine as a substitute on my laptop on the night table. The scammer's droning on and on or Elma's quickie nap snoring helps. It just runs into another Boda until I wake up.
