Magic Fact #001 What is a Deckmaster? So, Wizards were going to make more deckmaster games with different themes, like Sci-Fi. And they would all be under the category of deckmaster. And then Wizards got lazy and didn't make the rest. But, they didn't want to change the backs just in case people were playing expanded with new not-deckmaster cards, and some that are deckmaster cards, so they just kept the backs.
