I’m 53 miss the days when you didnt have to worry about the things we do now. We survived combat, 21 years of military service to have to fight against the system that we swore to defend. Just leave us alone,especially our children. I will continue to pray,prepare and work on my small house and farm. I will grow my own food raising my own chickens and connect with like minded people.

38 years old and already had the mind set to invest my time bee keeping and honey into a community where also growing more micro greens due to chickens helping to fertilize the top soil which boosts micro green growth which in turn micro greens along with the feed helps increase the number of eggs put out by the hen significantly Been aiding on my former girlfriends farm learning from her uncle who has goats and sheep as well And the milk he makes he sells to people getting into the natrual soap production field Pleanty of avenues for making money when putting time into farming

A knee injury cut my military service short during BT( preexisting injury, long story) so I didn’t get to serve but I did become a paramedic for a few years in the 90’s and I guess we should have seen some of the writing on the wall for some of this stuff back then. Thank you for your service to all the ungrateful assholes out there that have no clue what real sacrifice is. Good rant! You always provide value Mike. And absolutely, there is something uniquely satisfying about harvesting your own meat. I did not realize that until I went hunting for the first time about ten years ago, but I was really struck by that feeling of satisfaction after I got everything home that first time and was getting it cut up and prepped to freeze.

Was out my parents back yard the other day, and I heard a child scream next door and my response was just to run towards it...and it turned she was just crying because of something insignificant, but I realized that was my automatic response from being in certain situations in life and from training this mindest. My mom was like, 'your response was crazy, you just start running at the crisis' and I was like, "oh yeah, I guess so...didnt really think about it". 😂

Not sure if you're a Gen-Zer, but I'm an "Elder Millennial" and have noticed that a lot of Gen-Zers are really into the '80s and wish they would have been able to experience them. I suspect that Stranger Things and the enduring popularity of '80s movies such as The Breakfast Club and Back to the Future are a big part of the fascination, but young people in the '80s had a similar fascination with the '50s (and young people in the '50s were fascinated by the "Roaring '20s"). I think that young people recognize that these decades were a time of fun and freedom. Hopefully such times will soon return...

Also like and buying chicken at the store on manager sales and pressure caning them. You can also make meals in jars with veggies or rice mixed in it.

The self talk aspect is useful. We use this in prehospital intubations and cardiac arrest management, among other situations. There is a process that requires talking about what we are doing, why we are doing it and there is cross talk about what everyone is seeing and doing. They keep my mind sharp and my dreams alive. Dreams I can touch and understand. I highly highly recommend you try and early Viper my friend.
