Hello. I have always wondered if there is enough information to psychoanalyze the characters in a book, or if you psychoanalyze the author through his/her characters? If you do it at all.

Sometimes as a fun exercise, just keeping in mind that that’s what it is - a playful exercise. We do this a lot in college for example but we need to keep in mind that psychoanalysis can only really take place within the setting of a consulting room in a session, because people manifest parts of their personality due to the technique we use.
