Alex. Last week I bought the Hypolyta pattern and now have it already cut out to sew. This week I was blown away with the Unwind top and also purchased that pattern. Not only that but I ordered some fabrics yesterday from Lulou and joined their Swatch Club. They arrived today!! Cannot wait to make the Unwind hoodie in some beautiful marine blue heather viscose jersey fabric from them. Many, many thanks you are inspirational.

I totally love the PE Unwind Sweater - I pretty much lived in this over the winter. I had been wondering how it would work as a tee - thanks so much for confirming what I guessed that it would be perfect! I think your coral double gauze will be beautiful on you and absolutely fits with your colors.

Love the skirt! The hoodie is gorgeous ❤️ I have to agree with you about the quality of PE patterns. They are so well drafted and the instructions are brilliant. There are always sooooo many options, so a real bang for your buck! I also really like to see the range of pattern tester photos she includes - so many different ages and body shapes.

Haha yes I know I’m not alone in the ‘so many patterns, so little time’ thing. Yes sewing room mostly set up and ready to go! I’ve had to overspill a little into the spare room but I’ve got most of it in andnits motivated me to make sure I use up what I have before I buy more! I did declutter some fabric but what I have kept is what I love!

Love all your tops must have a look at that pattern and the skirt. I think a lot of us felt rubbish after our vaccination bu5 so glad to have had it but my daughter who was really poorly afterwards and her friends were rough too and yet some people haven’t reacted at all. I just used the Friday Pattern Company Ilford Jacket for a plaid, flannel “shacket.” I might have done a custom length to get it to end where I wanted it. I am very happy with the results.

We in the States tend to vaguely layer during spring and summer. A light blouse over a cami in spring or a beach cover up over swimsuits in summer. We don’t have a true spring anymore and summers hit 100 degrees F.

Good to hear the merino sews up well - I’ve been too nervous to cut into the teal colour that I bought. I also had a few problems with fibremood and payment but I did eventually get a reply and they managed to resolve the problem. I think the jacket will be worth the wait.

I’m hoping that when the next mag is released there’ll be some kind of notification about how to access the patterns, I think with a digital sub you get a set number per magazine. In the meantime I may just rethink making the Rya 🤷🏼‍♀️

Great video as usual, I am just finishing a hoodie out of Merino I purchased at the Fabric Store when in Australia, I bought 3 different colours and had a grey left that I wanted to make something a bit different out of and it wasn't untill I started watching you this evening that I remembered yet again I am copying you as I got the idea from your last week video. Did you have the AZ vaccine? It knocked me out for 2/3 days. Think I might just have to revisit my unwind pattern. The T-shirt’s looked great 👍. I saw online someone had used the Kalle shirt and hacked it into a long length shacket. Could that work?
