Everything is lovely as is usual with you. Love the vest over the blouse, big improvement. At Christmas, you can add an elf hat in similar colours, some striped socks and be both warm and cheerful lol. Sorry, watching this with a selection of stripes behind my tablet. Seeing stripes everywhere at the moment.

What a great week - I'm so tempted by the tie dye and the ribbed knit and 1st for Fabrics is only 10 mins away..... but I've bought 7 fabrics already this week... And if I go to 1st for Fabrics I am definitely buying some fake fur for next year.

I enjoyed watching this. Love the solution for the iffy placement top. I went for Rachel and it's what I would have gone for. I tend to love your colours except the green. Funnily enough I went to a craft fair last week and picked up a piece of rib knit, not as vibrant, but still colourful, still trying to decide what to make with it. I have finished my Le Blouse. I worked out the placket in the end. I used a viscose crepe, but I really do not like it on me. I should have taken a couple of inches out of the sleeve length and maybe the bodice too. Nice and easy sew really, but the sleeves are way too heavy. I was going to make a patina next, I have had the fabric for ages but my nice new linen/cotton blend is shouting at me and despite loads of searching, I cannot find a pattern that feels right. I want to make some trousers for summer as well. I have the winnie pattern and also the Ahlbeck pattern so one of those might be next instead.

I’m glad you got La Blouse finished, it’s a good heads up to know it’s a fairly straightforward sew. I do love a patina blouse and a linen cotton blend would be lovely, just bare in mind it’s a boxy shape. Oooo trousers sound good x

Love the patina blouse! Not pajama like at all. I like the dawson too - love that fabric - i have tried it and like it, but also i think i prefer the goldie from seamwork in the same vein. Love the new glasses too ❤.

I just love your Dawson t-shirt. That fabric is stunning and it looks great on you. As for the weather, if it makes you feel any better, I live in France and it has rained so much lately that the forest where I walk my dog is full of mud. Mind you, the sun has come out today, so perhaps things are looking up. Will be very interested to see what you make with that rib knit. I have just made the Itch to Stitch Vienna tank which is sleeveless, so hopefully I will get to wear it soon!
