Man how are they fumbling this slasher Renaissance so hard? The new Halloween trilogy was good I personally loved it but God damn that last movie did upset people and I get it. Scream had all its drama, Freddy is literally just a dream at this point and now Jason is locked up again like fuckin Akon. Chucky can't be the only horror icon going right that's actually stable (not a fan of the series, the teen booper stuff ain't for me but it at least is locked in and going strong on its 3rd season.) What the hell is going on? This isn't hard. Make good no not even good decent slasher flicks and you'll make money. Jfc. Edit: apparently Chucky is getting into Stephen King teens in the sewers territory so take strong with a grain of salt 😅

I think another reason this may have been canceled is because Bryan Fuller was accused of sexual harassment. There’s nothing definitive yet as it’s still ongoing, but I bet that with the strikes from last year really has just made this project doomed from the start.
