Hello There, how to analyze root images with blue blotting paper in the back ground? any help?

The difficulty may be in segmenting the root from the background. If the background is darker than the root, you can use the inverse image mode in RhizoVision Explorer, but if there is lots of noise, contrast is poor, and lighting is inconsistent with glare, there will be issues. You may need a more advanced segmentation tool like RootPainter to segment then use the segmented images in RhizoVision for trait analysis.
