It happens all the time. For example, me and my husband was down, poor, living with family. We had all the support of friends that had “it all” and they were always saying your day is coming to come out. Well, when God blessed us with our brand new home, they have not stepped foot in it, even after we have invited them several times! It makes us feel like why won’t they come? Did we do something wrong for getting the house? I don’t know, but this is needed. People you think is for you while you are beneath them, hates the fact that you surpassed them and they can’t handle it!!! My truth!!! Y’all keep soaring Tab and Chance! Greater is coming!!!! Love you both and the kids!!!🙌🏾💗🙌🏾💗🙌🏾💗

Hardest lesson in my life has been that you can't make people feel happy for your wins. Even though you are happy to share in their joy, they are not you and have a hard time being happy if it is not for themselves. I stopped trying to please those people , it hurt in the beginning but I feel I have grown up since then and instead of becoming bitter I have forgiven and blessed them to help them heal their own pain. Wasn't easy but it set me free 🙂😊🙏💕 just wanted to say bless you and may God always send you love and happiness, congrats on your new home! 🙌

New Beginnings With Tonja...girrrl, my husband & I experienced the same exact situation!!! We had to go stay with my mother-in-law about 5 years ago. She was happy we were down because she wanted us to permanently move in her basement😝. She liked asking us did we have money for food. And giving us $10-20 every other day. She liked seeing us in need cause she & her husband are very controlling people. She wanted us to get jobs in Chicago (we moved from ATL), so we could help her with her bills so she could spend her money on designer clothes! Not to mention it was so much tension in that house cause his dad didn’t want us there👿. But we rose up! The mom was pissed 😤 & tried to convince us to stay. We moved back to the A & we’ve been doing good ever since, praise GOD! Now that was fam. “Friends”, were fine when we needed $20-50 here & there or needed various things. But once we rose up outta our rut it was like they did a 360 on us! Barely calling or coming by, etc. They hard times will reveal your enemies!!! So happy that you all were able to rise up & move into a new home 🏡. What a blessing! New, positive people will enter your world. May your blessings & happiness continue!

It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” -M.W. When an individual does not recognize or can not comprehend this understanding they will run away from their potential their entire lives wreaking havoc onto those who are walking in their own. I ALLOWED myself to truly be sad that ALL my plans ( A through D lol) were crushed. I think many others don't know how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way. "Misery loves company", is the saying that comes to mind. Many people don't sit with their emotions to find healing, but only want others in the same predicament to not feel " left out" or " less than" . Sometimes you just have to cry after you tell a friend 'im so proud of you' or after you cheer them on, lol and that's okay. *NOT gone touch on that car dealership convo! 😂*

The crab in the barrel mentality is when you’re moving ahead and then there’s always the ones trying to pull you back when you’re getting ahead cause they get insecure and jealous and feel left behind. Insecurity and jealousy are the culprits

Stay in the light. There will ALWAYS be people who want you to stay down. They are jealous of not only your success, but of anyone's success. You have every reason to celebrate every good thing that's been manifesting in your life. Remember He prepares your table in the presence of your enemies and YOUR cup runneth over. Don't let them hurt your spirit and enjoy every blessing.

Tab mentioned one time you all live in the valley. Honestly, we want to get our kids away from unpleasant environments in the "inner city,", but sometimes we move to places where we are NOT welcome no matter how much money we have or what we wear and the color of our skin. California is a beautiful state but it still harbors quite a few RACIST businesses and people. By no means is it like the South, but still RACISM is here non the less!!!!!! Me, I wouldn't dare let this go without sending a very vocal letter to GMC headquarters. Don't let this go without sending a formal complaint to the CEO. Also, I would have brought to their attention there what they did. Not conformational but awareness. If you are ignorant enough to show me your racist behavior, well I'm strong and powerful enough to tell you about you racist behavior. We don't ever have to curse anyone, get loud or anything like that. But speak up. You have a voice. Speak up and speak out.

This is exactly why when Oprah spoke about her experience in the Louis Vuitton store in Europe, I didn't understand why she still spent money in that store. It wasn't me, and I swore up and down that I would NEVER spend my hard-earned money in that store. Go where you're celebrated, not where you're tolerated.

Some people are not happy with themselves - and therefore can’t bring themselves to be happy for you either. Nothing at all to do with you - it’s their own spiritual work to do. I’ve watched since the beginning and I’m still rooting for your success - which raises us all up too. You guys are a breath of fresh air on every level. Insightful, positive, principled -all with a spirit of FUN. Appreciate y’all!

Haterarion is a powerful thing. Some people appear to be rooting for you however when you actually win they show their true colours. It can be really subtle like not calling as they used to, not asking about your new venture or just being really distanced. I have experienced this over the course of my life and often wandered why? Is it me? Listening ro this blessed couple I realised its them and their issues which they are projecting onto me. So my moto now is to let them go exit the negatives vibes it sadly means they were meter your friends to start with so you just let them go. No need to announce or even have the conversation you just move forward with your beautiful life.
