I have a really old overlocker, but changing the threads is so easy. I just cut the threads of the bottom loopers right at the cones and then connect the new threads to them with a small knot and pull the two threads without any problem through the overlocker. Now I only need to rethread the two upper needles. Simple and fast.

What a great pattern your pinafore is. That lining technique is different to anything I have ever seen but so effective. I have the Pattern Room Ivy pinafore. It is a simple make but not as shapely. I added fish eye darts at the back to give it better shape. I also fully lined it. Like you thrilled with my BTPD calendar and even more thrilled to see Alice do vlogmas!! What a December to look forward to. 😊

What a cool technique for the lining of your outfit. I have never seen it done that before. I need to have a pajama sewing party. I have the fabric and the patterns so I need to get started. Its very daunting to begin with but once you follow the instructions its more just a chore than difficult but if you really want a chill free experience then a airthreader is the answer xx
