I’m glad you are getting over your cataract operation. It’s hard when your hobbies need good vision and you have something like this done. My right eye has a cataract but not bad enough to be ready for an operation.

I say just make the bag! You are an experienced sewist. I love the trousers. I was just at my local fabric store to buy some Canada Day fabric to make my sister a chemo cap to wear July 1st. I found 2 McCalls patterns in the clearance bin, $2 each! I also saw some small check gingham fabric, 5 different colours, that I want to buy to make a basic button up shirt, using all 5 colours. And it's 50% off for another week. I am so jealous your coverstitch makes belt loops. I have to add those to add to a customer's short. I have a Janome machine, must find out if extra feet are available. I love your Liberty 😎. I have Laura Ashley eye glasses from 26 years ago, pre lazer eye surgery. I'm thinking of getting them changed into sunglasses.

It’s weird since k had my eyes done I think I’ve had a little confidence crisis I think as my vision is t there fully yet, can’t drive and visiting shops etc is tricky as things in the distance are g in focus ive lost my way a little But I’m washing the fabric now and going for it 😊

I am hemming a pair of linen Saguaro pants while I watched your video. I think they are going to be so comfy and cool for summer. I am also a convert to the waistband style and am adding the waistband stretching to all my elasticated trousers now.

I’m trying to get to grips with varifocals, just got them on Wednesday, not going very well so far 😬.
