I think the darker button looks the best with your orange fabric.

Great vlog as always Adele. As for stash details - a lady never tells 😂. I have collected fabric for over 30 years, as a result my stash is extensive. Every season I get out fabric I want to make and put away last seasons fabric. I keep it in 60litre snap lock containers and black rubbish sacks inside hem to stop the light ruining it. I am finally finding that I have less to put away as I am sewing from the stash😮. Your Marlo is beautiful and I like both buttons, the dark one makes a statement while the mottled is more subdued.

Your Marlow looks great, I'd go with the smooth button with the cream flash, I like how it looks and I think as it's a big bigger it's a better sized for the chunky cardi. But go with what YOU want :)

I just made a Marlo sweater too! I only sized down one and it’s still very roomy around the bottom. I think the next one will be smaller and a bit longer as well. I also did the “easy” method of attaching the collar band but mostly due to the softness of my fabric, there was no way I’d be able to turn under the edge 1/4” unless I serged it first. I personally prefer the lighter color button, it almost looked to have a tinge of orange in the middle to coordinate with your sweater. Good luck with the rest of your makes! Happy sewing.

I am ashamed to say I have that much fabric it would take me way too long to put mine into an app. 🤣 I have the biggest kallax unit with 25 cubes in (not sure they even still sell one that big now) and 22 of the cubes are rammed with that much fabric they are bulging at the fronts and need to be forced in. 2 of the boxes are the same with patterns and the other 1 stores crafty stuff. Now I also have a small fabric pile forming on a stool. What can I say? I love fabric!
