What would we do without you, Karen and Mike, always thinking about us at home, some who will not be able to go all these beautiful places or being able to plan a trip to the mountains in the future. It was so beautiful just to ride and then be quiet and sit and enjoy the views. What more can one ask on a day the Lord gave to us to share and enjoy. Thanks again for all you do and always giving to the community. God Bless,

One tends to forget how pretty the area is until your away for sometime. Born in Maryville but raised in the Valley until I was 14, then back to Maryville. We had a home about 1 mile from the Blount county line on 30 acres. I doubt that I could hardly afford 1 of those acres now. I've lived in 9 other states due to work, but only one other was as beautiful but in a different way. That was when I lived on the York River in Virginia with Williamsburg just up the parkway. Sure plan to ride the Hawk and horse's when I get back to the area. Thanks, I enjoy your videos.

I was up there back in August when they had just opened. I didn't know about the coupons at the store we didn't go to the store until afterwards. So this time when we were there this week we got the discount coupon at the store. For me, it's the perfect combination of Sunny areas and shaded areas on the ride up. Not like Anakeesta, where I thought I was going to have a heat stroke back in August sitting in the direct sun so long. We have stayed in Townsend a couple times now and discovered we really like the quieter side of the Smokies.

We really need to check the Wears Valley...Townsend area out next time. We have said for years that we were...but always manage to run out of time. The folks running that chair lift are super friendly....as were the folks at the top. Going to make it a point to do this! Have ya'll ever been to Little Switzerland? It's just off the Blue Ridge Pkwy. in N.C. That area just keeps growing and it's absolutely beautiful. If you have not been...I really think ya'll would like it.
