FRIED CRISPY SOY SAUCE PORK BELLY Aunty Mary Cooks. Frying pork belly until crispy removes a lot of oil from the pork belly and makes it fragrant and delicious with the soy sauce seasoning. This crispy soy pork belly is so good with plain rice, noodles or even in banquettes and sandwiches. Aunty Mary shows how to cook this easy recipe of fried crispy soy sauce pork belly.
Ingredients
750g pork belly, skinless
1/2 big bulb garlic, peel and chop
2 big onions, peel and cut into wedges
1 bunch spring onions, cut into sections
1 Tbsp dried chilli flakes (optional)
oil for frying
Seasoning
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp soya sauce
2 Tbsp dark soya sauce
2 Tbsp oyster
Note :
1. It’s important that the pork is dry before frying to avoid hot oil splashing
around.
2. Leftover oil can be used for frying vegetables, fried rice, fried noodles or
other dishes.
