Fried Okra Patties

make this delicious no-meat dish made up of okra, onions,chili & an easy to make batter
How to make Fried Okra Cakes:
For the veggies you will need:
12-16 pieces Okra (sliced thinly)
2 Onions (diced)
3-5 Red Chili (sliced)
Combine 1 egg with 1 cup water & pour on dry batter ingredients made up of: ½ cup each of all-purpose flour & instant oats-ground (you can substitute with breadcrumbs), ½ tablespoon of baking powder, ¼ tbsp. salt, 1 teaspoon Chicken Powder,1 tablespoon cheese powder (optional) & a few dashes of ground pepper.
Mix batter until smooth then put in all the sliced vegetables. Let mixture rest for 15 minutes before frying so that the batter will stick better.
To fry: Heat 3-4 tablespoons of cooking oil, put a big spoonful of the mixture, press down a bit & try to form a round shape using spatulas. Fry until both sides are golden brown. Drain oil from okra cakes.
