I enjoy your videos, and your style. But you should throw out the “vegetable oil” and use lard or any oil that isn’t produced from seeds. It is poison. (Not inherent in the seeds so much, but the extraction process using chemicals and heat). Your body will benefit greatly!
@AtHomewithMrsJoanАй бұрын
Thank you. I'll try to study more on the oils.

I am definitely going to try this. Thanks for sharing. Do you blanch your squash before freezing it ? Or do you just slice it and freeze without blanching?

No blanching. Just wash, slice, and freeze.

Thank you again for this information. I grew up in NE Texas and that’s pretty southern. Maybe not Deep South, but most of our grandparents and great grand parents came from SC, GA, TN, etc. in my family blacked peas are a NY tradition and to this day, I cook them. I’m 80 and just love them. So glad and blessed for my Southern tradition.

Mrs Joan. Thanks for this!! I am going try zucchini this way...Been looking for this for a long time. Hope it will work. I'm in NC born and raised. We had such a big garden last year and we have so much in the freezer and I didn't know what to do with it except bread and we don't eat a lot of it. So thanks again for this idea. We do eat this meal on New Years also. But not with coins when small. My parents had so problem with us eating anything.out of the garden. God Bless and hope you have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!!
