Using the skills I have learned to check the alternator on a BIG Semi Truck and test its components.

my alternator on a Detroit S60 is putting out 14.9 volts

I hope you’re able to see my message, I have a 2014 freightliner Cascadia evolution and the batteries keep getting very hot two of them when I stop today or at 156° the other two are normal at least for now what could be causing this when I start the truck the alternator reads like 13 nine and then I’m going down the road I haven’t checked it constantly but it’s usually around 14.1
