I feel like this testimony, though frustrating at times, has helped provide a much clearer idea of what was going on between him, mel Gib, and the two doomsday lovers. From what it sounds like to me, mel and David met and were trying to have a respectable relationship whilst in the middle of divorce with a child with disabilities. Of course mel and Lori would have bonded over this and that is how the relationship got stronger between them. But mel knew there was something off and had asked David to sort of see it for himself and see if he couldn't bring clarity. He knew they were bonkers and trying to justify their crap with this prophet bologna but he wasn't trying to cause a fight. There is a big difference between being in the middle of a divorce and starting to see somebody, and seeing somebody while you are waiting for your wife to die.... He wasn't buying what they were selling. Mel gib was trying to unravel herself from a weird friendship but didn't want to ghost Lori. They are all human (even though chad and Lori like to think otherwise) and nobody is perfect but the defense attorney is going on that still married bit cuz he knows it will be a guilt trip. The defense attorney is just doing his job. I am just so thankful they found the bodies of the kids or we would still be wondering today and the doomsday lovers may still be free, ruining more lives. Peace to David and Melanie, they got caught up in some wild crap.

@@moomyung9231 that’s the way a court room operates, it’s called decorum. That is what’s expected by counsel unless you want to be reprimanded. It has nothing to do with stress and it’s easier than to argue. They have to state certain things on the record to be able to preserve them for issues on appeal if that becomes necessary. He had a further point he wanted to make even though it wasn’t allowed. If there were to be an appellant issue later, he would be able to bring it up. Family of attorneys here lol.

What do the visions have to do with a murder trial or are they trying to say that Chad talking about his wife dying is okay or normal for his beliefs. Although suffocation with them sleeping next to you is not normal and moving the body to the floor, lying about your wife throwing up and its not true. Chads lies are what is not normal and finding dead children on your property and not being surprised.

I feel like Sebastian is with my dad in heaven because I was wondering if my dads dog Shorty was with my dad and Sebastian says he is with the dog. Shorty is the dog my dad spoke about as his childhood dog and it had a short tail like a nubbins he would say. We lost my nephew who was 11 and I think a lot of children are drawn to my dad. He was a wonderful man, father and grandfather as well as my mom.
