Happy Thanksgiving Reptile Army! I am so thankful for each of you! Five years ago today I posted a video that changed my life.. I never imagined how different life would be after that one video. Thats when I started my daily vlog and thats when this channel blew up. It has been challenging and rewarding at the same time. Without all of you I honestly have no idea where my life would be? I have been able to open The Reptarium, which was my biggest dream and now I am on the cusp of starting the next project that I have dreamt about my whole life. To have the Reptarium become more and open an aquarium. Remember my first memory as a kid was at an aquarium. And if all gees well there will be a day in the not too distant future where I will we standing my own! I am beyond thankful that all of you have made it possible for this to happen. no he didn't, I've seen people bitten by larger snakes, sure it hurts, it doesn't hurt as much as he's making it out to look, it's like velcro being pressed into your skin, the points are so thin you don't feel them, I've seen 120lb women coiled by snakes bigger who did WAY more damage (tore skin) and they are just like "yeah....got me good, that was dumb lol, man she's squeezin" while blood is dripping down their arm. I've actually never seen anyone verbalize it hurting so i kind of feel like he's just giving snakes a bad rep for internet views. Also if he knew what he was doing he wouldn't have held the pig with his hand. that's like child basics. they MAKE tongs for this so the snake doesn't think arm= food. when they get a varied diet they will go for the familiar object it could be nice tongs, or it could be someone's arm. Also that bite wasn't even as bad as my only bite from a carpet python, she just nipped him. he didn't even use the target right... What is this guy doing? (I study snakes, specifically behavior, my king snake does tricks. all my snakes are target trained. and I've worked with innumerable snakes and handlers, most of which i didn't know including plenty of wild snakes that needed to be rescued from painful situations where they were highly reactive, and I've been bitten once, doing something i knew the snake would object to. i specialize in defensive snakes, and species with strong feed responses)

Videos like this are what put a bad light on snakes BUT you showed that it's not an aggression thing. Because most of the time people don't stay calm like you did and explain what was going on with the snake when it bit you and how to safely remove it. People like you are what we need more of in the Reptile Community. And the bite wasn't that bad at all.

@@snayke7833 yea, this was a feeding bite, but I don't recommend you watch this channel, here's why don't worry they text isn't as big you think (sorry for the long comment tho): even though he seems harmless he is endangering his snakes, I've seen him completely skip hides just so we can see the snake easier, he has no care for the snakes and doesn't hesitate to clickbait, either his shoutout from MrBeast corrupted him, or he was corrupt from the start, there are other good snake channels though, snake discovery is one of the many, if you look at their videos and watch a few you can tell they are entirely different from each other, Emily (snake keeper of snake discovery) makes sure when she is cutting eggs she is slow and careful, always letting people know the blood is not that they harmed the snake, that they lay on the bottom of the egg, (they also sometimes mention that if you cut the egg wrong, you can hurt the snake.) however with Bryan he actually cuts them open at the speed of light, endangering the snake's health and life, then literally GRABS IT FROM THE EGG. (I've seen him do it it's heartbreaking) just to show it's alive, it's not gonna be alive if you keep GRABBING IT WHEN IT'S NOT READY. The moral of the story, don't watch him, he is corrupted. makes clickbait titles and thumbnails and an overall abuser, you don't even have to watch snake discovery, it's just they are the most widespread channel on snakes, snake hatching, snake care, and other videos like their zoo (not like the usual zoo where they torture animals, happens in my area all the time D:) edit: he may look innocent, but don't forget, you may see a nice man at a cafe, but then a day later he is convicted of horrible crimes, you wouldn't believe it, would you? he seemed nice, didn't he? Don't let it cloud your vision, you can stay in this channel and watch someone torture their snakes, (most bites inside their bins when it's not feeding is actually the horrified snake btw) OR, you can move to literally any other snake channel, not like Bryan, and finally not deal with his crap you had no idea what so bad.

I am having a very hard day, as I always do this time of year. Thanksgiving used to be a fav of mine, spending all day in the kitchen with my Grandpa. When I lost him, all the holiday magic went with him. I do my best to hide the pain at Christmas so I can give my daughter the Christmas she deserves. I think it's very educational to show people how to handle a hard bite and not have that knee-jerk reaction. Sometimes it takes a lot to just still yourself in a moment of panic.
