I see a lot of people saying they're wanting to start exercises but are discouraged by this a little - take it from me, I started just a few weeks ago and I can tell you this is just for laughs, it's nothing like this! Everyone is either so friendly and considerate or completely minding their own business! Everyone is there for themselves, just like you would be! I have been going to the gym for a while and I can definitely attest that everyone is just minding their own business and vibin to music. No one will judge you for being at the gym because you are bettering yourself. If anything you are judged less at the gym than in public… unless you are being inconsiderate of others and sitting on ur phone for 30 minutes between each set at a machine that is.

Even if it's just the anxiety of wanting to perform well around other people, you can start with calisthenics from home! All you'll need is a pull up bar or even a semi- straight tree branch and a little motivation, maybe even the device you're reading this on, and you're good to go! (And you can do them practically ANYWHERE, which is a huge bonus if you're not always near a gym)

not tryna be rude, but no one cares about you at the gym... theyre focusing on themselves and legit wont even notice youre there staff wont judge either since theyre either there to help people or to get money for not doing shit

People at the gym tend to be in their own world and not notice other people. For the most part they are just there listening to music and minding their own business. The only time anyone would judge you is if you are doing something disrespectful like sitting on ur phone for 15 min between sets hogging a machine. Other than that you will probably be judged less in a gym than you would be out in public since there is a mutual understanding that everyone is there to get better. Unless you are ego lifting or disrespecting people then you will be fine.
