Hello Damari ! being honest we´re so proud, because we made a good choice. by listening to this wonderful smooth-jazz coming from heaven. I´m a real jazz-fan since 1981 when I met George Benson with his "Lady" from the Breezin album. Later a friend introduced me to the world of Dave Grusin with "She could be mine" from the L.P,. "Out of the shadows" and I was shocked. SInce then I listen to the jazz in all its variations. This world of jazz gives me everything. There are lots of excelent musicians. I´m a Mexican citizen. Beginning in 1981 with this jewel. Congratulations for your good choice !. God bless you !

Was 17 in 1980, but in 1983 I was stationed in San Diego and there was a jazz show called “Art Goods Late night San Diego”. He introduced me to all of these incredible artists already mentioned in the comments to the OP. For me Art Good turned me on to more musicians than anyone else…. And I was a band guy playing the sax. Dave G led to the GRP all stars… so then comes Dave Valentine, Marcus Miller, SADAO WATANABE!!, McCoy Tyner, Ramsey Lewis, Return To Forever, etc. But this song and this album…. Man what a classic.

This was played religiously in the background each Sunday afternoon during the early eighties as I cleaned and organised my cherished bedroom at my lovely parents home in Tottenham, still together in health and love. Brenda Russell, Merry Clayton (When the world trns blu), and Gene Dunlap among many other wonderful music shaped my image, brain network... and me into the 58 yrs I am today.

I remember getting this album in the mid 90s after I walked past a guy playing it at a flea market in Zimbabwe. I loved the music and had to ask. Im a 78 born thorough hip hop head and was loving the funk of this. I laughed when He gave me the CD and theres a white cowboy dude on the cover. I thought I was being conned for a minute ha ha.
