Yes, but sitcoms are known to keep environment to a minimum to lower cost. Also, filming outside cost a ton because it is harder to control lighting, sounds, al. And you have to move the crew outside. Sitcoms usually use 2 cameras and thats it... In later seasons, most of the budget went to the actors (1 million per actor per episode)
