This scene isnt just about the show ending, it's about moving on... and that hurts the most. Your friends or even your family you hang out with daily, become... distant people in your life because either you have your own family to take care of or your friends have. This scene definitely hits harder after hearing about the passing of Matthew Perry! Anyone who watched this show knows you can relate to it in so many ways with all the laughs and the ups and downs you go through in life with your closest friends. Time really does fly and in the blink of an eye your life can change just like that. I don’t hang out with my close click of friends as much as I use to , now that some of them are married and or have kids. While I am happy for them , there’s always gonna be a selfish part of me that wishes I could get those times back when it was just us all hanging out like we use to.

@c.l.m.4726 Жыл бұрын
The ending is very profound and the writers gave perfect closure with them putting their keys down. It's the saddest thing ever to watch because it's the end of an era, but it also gives a sublime message that we all grow up and move on from our twenties. I expect maybe all of us can remember with warm feelings where we were at 25 years old and how much has moved on since then.

I will never forget the days before this final episode first aired, everybody was talking about it! One radio station had got a sneak peek at this last scene and actually allowed people to call in to hear the final line of dialogue. None of us could bring ourselves to spoil it before seeing it but we were all talking about who was going to make that last joke (of course it was going to be Chandler) and what it was going to be! So when we saw finally saw it, it was well worth the wait! The perfect ending to such a great series!
@dvchel6 жыл бұрын
I was only 10 years old so I can't remember back then being such a big deal to be honest. But realizing 52 million people watched it is pretty amazing. And of course watching the entire 236 episodes in sequence it all makes sense why people regard it as one of the greatest tv-shows ever.

One of the saddest parts about this ending is that Joey never found love, and he was the reason all of the other friends ended up with who they did: Joey kept telling Ross to go for Rachel when no one else was Joey randomly yelled “Mike” at Central Perk and then Mike met Phoebe Monica was trying to find comfort in Joey but found Chandler instead...and then they...you know...did stuff Not to mention the fact that he told Ross about the ‘backpacking in Western Europe’ thing, and when Rachel said it to Ross he knew immediately and they made Emma. If Joey didn’t tell him about it who knows, Ross might not have fallen for it and Emma wouldn’t have been born. After that Joey never found love. He was probably meant to on the Joey show but that show was shit.

What a beautiful ending to FRIENDS ❤️ Despite being on a new chapter in their lives, I’d like to think that they had never stopped being friends all these years. They still hang out at Monica and Chandler’s place whenever they want to, maybe even celebrate special occasions like Christmas and Thanksgiving over there, and lastly, gather for a coffee break at Central Perk while the kids are running around. I’m pretty sure the six of them would still have a lot of stories to share up until this very day. Well that’s up to our imagination now 😅 This was definitely the BEST sitcom ever.
