She has been in this position conducting applied research and education for wild blueberry farmers and landowners for 6 years. Current research and education projects include finding ways to make water more available to wild blueberry plants, better understanding wild blueberry plant nutrition and weed management, and creating educational materials for organic wild blueberry growers. Lily lives in Winterport with her family and is a member of the Winterport Conservation Commission.
