After Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe look at a Playboy magazine, Monica asks her friends a hypothetical question, “if you had to pick one of us to date who would it be?” Both Monica and Rachel answer with “I don’t know,” but Phoebe picks Rachel! Monica gets jealous and asks Phoebe why she was not picked. Phoebe calls Monica high maintenance and Rachel a push over. Both Monica and Rachel are mad at Phoebe and call her flaky, but to their surprise, Phoebe accepts being flaky.

Imo she got way worse. She used to be nice and sweet and truthful (remember season one where she says she never lies?), but on the second half of the series she's becomes manipulating, lies all the time to get her way, and is a hypocrite who will say something (and sometimes guilt-trip the others into something) but then turn around and do exactly the opposite the moment it's convenient to her. Plus, she becomes nasty to Chandler for no reason, constantly putting him down and even telling him that no one has a lower opinion of him than she does.
