As a smoker (now a vaper) myself, I can confirm this habit. Usually on smoking break, we smokers started with daily life or families and whatnot... But someway, somehow, when you have your smoking break in your office, it's always turn into job discussion and deciding something important while you're relaxed.

We had a smoking room in one office I worked at...most of our meetings etc ended up there. The VP gave us all shit once for never being in our offices....lol. Then when they got rid of it, we'd be outside discussing various business items. He came out one time "didn't you hear them paging you to shipping"? Nope...."I guess i have to put a speaker out here now" and yes, I worked for another office who did that: they connected an outdoor speaker to the smoking area so we could hear our pages" lol.

It's thus, also quite ironic. For that Jennifer continued to smoke nonetheless. Why? Maybe peer- or public-pressure. You know, for Jennifer being Mrs. Pitt at the time, being _America's Sweetheart_ ... So, feeling the need that she needs to satisfy all these areas. She used to be more curvy in the early seasons too. And you know, smoking fills the appetite. With smoking it is thus another technique to keep yourself thin too.

It was kind of written on the wall for me. My parents smoked like chimneys and the car would be full of smoke. By the time I was 12 I already had a 2 pack a day habit. What ticks me off is they both quit after I moved out and here I am stuck with it. Yes, I've tried to quit a number of times with zero success and a whole lotta agony.

@@maryammure5151 he smoked like the others except david, but he wasn't addicted to smoking. a lot of people smoked in 90's. he was addicted to drugs in fact which made him unhealthy but he quit his drugs and that's why was skinny in season 3 and 7. he kinda lost 20 pounds. he started using drugs in the shooting of season 3 but it was because of the jetski accident which he used painkillers but there were drugs in it. so he didn't wanted to be addicted to the drugs. now he is fine.

Just because a couple millions smoke ... doesn't justify you smoking yourself. After all, if he/she jumps from a bridge, we don't jump too either. So, with Friends depicting and making fun of how bad smoking really is ... you were hoping there was some kind of awareness or "awakening" for the actors, besides Schwimmer, not to do it.

When Chandler said she smells great, Istg when I was on the road of stopping, the smell is so so yum 🤤 I did was whenever I smell the cigarettes or craving, I'll inhale and exhale through my nose. Or just like exactly how smoking works. I can say it worked but I'm always on the edge. But i got tired of smoking and taking a bath after (my mom doesn't know), or maybe she does but still hasn't said anything to me (she smoked when she's in college so I'm sure she knows how it smells exactly)Now I always say I don't get why people smoke 🤣 but nah ah~ (been not smoking for 2 years, I started when I was 15 and lasted for 2 years)
