And I can't complain that life was bad to me: I have a great job where I'm appreciated and payed really well and I bought an apartment. I wouldn’t do that myself. I’ve been in situations where I felt uncomfortable because of the awkwardness. When I had the social skills to end the situation politely, I always came off feeling better about myself and feeling better about the fact that I didn’t contribute to the masses of angry, jilted people who are mad at the opposite gender for having been mistreated by them. Yes, it took more time and more patience to end things politely, but, like I said, those are the times I look back on those times and feel good about myself. I wrote this message specifically so that hopefully people out there treat one another with respect and kindness. The lack of it has contributed very heavily to very, very bad online and offline behavior in people.
