Just want to add that 7-11 shop is not created equal. The area with expats community will have more variety products than a typical shop like in my housing village. But you can be assured of the consistent quality service in all 7-11 shops. I should know as I am an avid biker, biking to Chiang Mai twice, to Phuket twice and to Nakhon Phanom once. Along the way, always patronize 7-11 for drinks and food and totally satisfied with the service.

Yes, you understand correctly that most 7/11 shops do not have the same product to sell. Because they have a monitor which product sells better than the other then it is matched to the area rather than just hanging on the shelf. A city like BBK or a major city in Thailand will have more varieties than a suburban area but it is the same price.

Yes 711 is my go place in stocking up on my daily drinks liked coconut water, snacks and some light bites whenever i go down to BKK, most items are just a quarter of the price back home in Singapore.

quick good word about Thai 7-11......................my flight back to USA was at 7am, had to be at airport by 4:30am , hotel buffet breakfast doesn't start till 6:30am & Starbucks not open until 6am .....so , at 3:30am I went to 7-11 and got a pre-cooked omlett with rice and they made me a espresso drink and both were not that bad at all. and very inexpensive !! .... they were actuall good ! thanks 7-11

Most of the food in 7eleven is hyperprocessed food and direct unhealthy.. Better support streetfood vendors or small restaurants than a big multinational company if you are hungry..

7-11's were great, but couldn't buy the ready meals as was staying 1st week in a B&B which only had a kettle in the room. I tried the toasted sandwich (heated in store) but was bit sweeter than used to. Had those Tom Yum noodles for a lazy night in the apartment. I got the Bento dried snack (not sure which one) and was okay, not a strong fishy taste. Friend back home didn't like the sound of it lol for drinks I loved the sqeezy jelly ones with collagen and vitamins and then on my last week the nearest 7-11had the big drinks dispenser with the choc brownie milk 😋it was finished fast lol It's amazing the difference in price - like a big bottle of water only cost around 20 baht and banana 9, you could buy 3 Thai ones for just a regular size one here

I'm very cheap when it come to drinking alcohol. I'll be coming to Pattaya in 2 months. I will have a few beer in bars during happy hour but I was wondering, is there cheap hard liquor in 7/11 ? Here in the US, I can get a 750 ml bottle of cheap rum or vodka for around $ 6 to $10. How are the prices in Pattaya ? I was going to get a bottle and some kind of juice and mix my own drinks in the hotel.

Thank you for the great and informative video. I did noticed the abundance of ready to eat foods in 7-Eleven. However, I was wondering if the Thai locals actually buy the foods from the store? I just thought that since there so much tastes street foods, people would rather eat the street market foods instead of 7-Eleven foods. When I was there, I mostly go to 7-Eleven for beer and ice tea.

I love your channel an this well-intentioned video, but this time the information content is rather simple and unreflected. As a tourist, you can see for yourself what is available in the 7-11 during a visit. And that's different in a Thai village than in the middle of Bangkok. Above all, the food on offer should be viewed more critically: The ready meals on offer are highly industrially processed, contain too much salt or sugar and are unhealthy (you should take a look at the ingredients listed). What is much more interesting for tourists is what distinguishes the offerings in Thailand from those in their home country: For example, the whiteners in the cosmetics, the differences in the water on offer: natural origin versus industrial origin (e.g. through reverse osmosis). Evian water is not more expensive because it is of natural origin, but because it has to be transported from France to Thailand, which is everything but sustainable. Interesting are not the list of articles, but e.g. information on fresh food, the possibility of having something heated in the microwave, the sale of ice cubes, the offer of Sim-Cards at the cash desk, the preparation of coffee products, also iced, the preparation of Thai tea, the offer of medicines and first aid articles and the fact that 7-11 stores can be good meeting points and signposts in nowhere, etc. Let's go - you can certainly do better.
