Such a great video! I feel like I don't see enough books about friendships-especially adult ones- being talked about and recommended online, so thank you for this video. All of the plots of the books seem so interesting but I think I'll check out Boys come first, Nickel Boys and All together now first.

I thought Recitatif was brilliant because the reader doesn’t know which girl is black and which one is white. I loved this book and thought it was so interesting how Toni Morrison challenges our preconceived notions of racial identity. Great selection of books!
