I love this show and think it's great! Just clearing the air. Now onto the basis of the video title.
If you were to ask me who were the biggest losers of the crunchyroll anime awards, I'd say it was Frieren. The worst part is, they're probably gonna be losers of the same awards next year. Because of that other Mappa show that was airing right up until the very end of last year.
Anyway, final thoughts on Frieren. No shock, I like it as well.
I'm gonna be doing quite a few vids of similar length to this that aren't about MT for the next few weeks.

production is top notch...that's why it did very well...the story was okay, characters were okay. The story itself was good..the hype is what confused me. The story was average..I did love how humans are teaching an elf 😂that was atleast for me kept me watching solid 7.5

@@hollowify_tensa_zangetsu frieren deserves all the hype it gets, the way it showcases the passage of time was something i've seen in only one other anime(mushoku tensei) it happens so subtly that we don't notice the it, life for example fern aging .the animation was was next level from beginning to end and for a "boring" anime it ironically had some of the best fights this season{Heck in all of anime} with some of the best movement animation and fight choregraphy that you'll see in anime and don't forget the sound track, evan call really nails the the world aesthetic and you can hear it in the music. But that aside it is also has extremely good world building , every thing about the world of sousou no frieren is thought out, from the its power system to the impact on magic on the world. Frieren is one of the few adventure anime that actually feels like an adventure, watching frieren revisit the locations she passed during the heroes journey feels so rewarding for some reason also Frieren being a somewhat character driven anime has all its characters grounded in realism, the emotional moments don't feel forced and all the characters feel real and not like one dimensional robots. if fmab has held 1st for so long then frieren sure as hell deserves all its flowers

Its a show that can be enjoyed at face value and deep if you want.. If you haven't come to terms with death and how short life is this is will be peak. The new neon genesis Evangelion.. if your "depressed " at the time its a master piece...if you weren't depressed at the time its cool

Ppl who call frieren lame are the same ppl who quit legend of the galactic heroes and missed out on one of the greatest stories ever or dropped monster cus "too long" or whatever. They are the same ppl who play COD and complain and then when a new game comes out they hate it and cry it's not COD. Same mental state.

Frieren's gonna get a ressurgence once the complainers have aged a bit and will value substance over yelly-screamy-battle-ready anime and appreciate that loud isn't always equivalent to great. If I were in my teens to early twenties Frieren might not be the best for me especially if it were released then its contemporary would be FMA but because of the saturation and formulaic releases of consequent anime series nowadays, a sensible and subtle anime masterpiece that is Frieren will resurface in value for those looking for modern classic stories that are just a hint of perfect blend of everything.

Also other contemporaries it would have if it were released in 2000s to 2010s would be Fairy Tail which was also good back then.
