​@slimetank394 It's not Qual's. When Frieren fights Qual, she mentions that magic has advanced, and his previously unbeatable magic is now pretty much commonplace. After that in Fern's fight against that demon mage guy, the demon mentions that she uses "demon killing magic" during his soliloquy. Thus we can assume that the spell Fern spams in combat is not the spell Qual designed but rather a more specialized spell based off of it designed by Frieren while he was chilling as a statue.
