Possibly the best entrance in anime in a long time. The difference between Fern and Stark, they both enter carfully, with a plan and a tactic to win, they know they are able to win but will have to fight hard to achive that. Frieren, on the other hand, knows she is going to win. She knows how much stronger she is, she isn't afraid, she doesn't sneak, she just floats down, contempt and disintrest covering her face. No need to flash, no need for a battle cry, they just have her slowly decend, the cold light of the moon shining behind her. GOD this anime is just perfect, I adore the manga but they have somehow inproved it. Noone will beat Evan Call this year for OSTs and it's been a strong year for OSTs.

What I like about Friren’s Anime is that there is no stage of becoming a hero - pumping her up and becoming strong. She is already the embodiment of her strength, but she appears to the viewer as an ordinary elf, and with each episode it is as if, peeling an onion with tears, we see a new layer (of her abilities).

It was when Aura called Frieren "Sousou no Frieren" that I realised that "Sousou" in the title meant "Slayer" and that all this time the anime was called "Frieren the Slayer"

Not quite, the translation is quite hard, and has a dual meaning in the original. More literally would be 'Frieren of the Funeral', in the funeral which set this whole second journey off and her being any demon's funeral.

Probably because all those big studios in USA don't care about good movies anymore. They only care about money now. And even if movie is an absolute shit, but is very controversial, people will still pay to watch it, as they want to know what is wrong with it. We like to criticize and mock those movies on social media, but we really should just ignore them and pretend they don't even exist - that will hurt those studios the most.

In general the wests film industry doesnt seem to be doing a good job in the fantasy genre. Like when did we see a movie/tvshow with an elf protagonist or a fantasy setting which we often see in anime? The wests film industry seems to always produce dogshit in the fantasy genre, be it from not respecting the source or them not understanding said source, while the anime/manga industry seems to be able to do a near perfect job, which the west has never gotten close to achieve.
